Here’s a behind the scenes video of the shoot I was involved with NashWhite Salon for there L’Oreal Colour Trophy entry, which they were chossen. I loved being part of this shoot with photographer Chris Harris and model Maisie-Jane Daniels.

Last week I got badly sun burnt on my arms and shoulders when doing a face painting job. Usually I’m very good at looking after my skin from the sun/UV rays as having very pale/fair skin, but after 6 six years I slipped up big time :(

I tried my usual after sun creams but it still was red raw, hot, itchy and very painful to the touch. Then my pharmacist advised me to try this product “Beauty Formulas Organic Aloe Vera Gel”, so I tried it and it’s done wonders.

NEW YSL BabyDoll Mascara

I’ve always been a huge fan of Yve Saint Laurent Mascara’s, ever since their Volume Effet Faux Cils Lash came out 10 years ago.

Now their bringing out a completely new mascara called BabyDoll. I’ve been using this for three weeks now and I have absolutely fallen in love with this product and this is why….!

This is the only mascara that has special 2 in 1 styling brush. One side combs to help lift and separate while the other side coats, volumises, defines and adds curl. When first using I found the brush really soft and doesn’t scratch or irritate your eyes.

The secret to this mascara is that it contains Graphine in it. This special formula is made of pure carbon atom which is very simular to rubber, as it helps to stretch and lengthen your lashes.

This also has a new pigment breakthrough as the molecules are much smaller in this formula then any other brand. As it gives a more intense colour and finish on your lashes.

This mascara caters for everyone even if you have long, short, thick, thin, curly, straight or stubborn lashes. As you can see in the picture my short, straight lashes have really curled and opened up (no photo-shopping used).

It’s a dream to apply on, it doesn’t leave any crumbly/flakyness as some mascara’s do after a few hours of using it. It definitely holds my lashes into shape and last all day long. The formula is so light and feels soft to the touch on my lashes.
